It's 6am I must be lonely

The puppy expierement is going very well so far. We really lucked out with an amazing dog and God has really blessed us both with a new level of patience and calm.
We went to visit Doug's family one last time before he headed out.
It was a nice visit. They weren't thrilled about us having Sara with us but oh well.
Molly and Sara played so well with each other after they got to know each other.

Doug left on Wednesday, it was hard but I am learning to be stronger.
<3

On Thursday I decided to go to my mothers house and spend some time with her (more for Tobin then myself really). I gotta quit doing that. Actually I am done. Totally done with all the drama that woman brings into my life.
I'm still quite upset about it so I really won't get into details. (sorry I know)
The result ended up being me getting into my car upset and just driving until I got home.
Which sucks since I was planning on hanging out with a few people in town afterward. I just was way beyond upset.

So now Tobin Sara and I are home. Could not be happier.
Its 7am. I'm wide awake and ready to start my day.
Goals for today;
7:30-8ish Read my LTG and spend some great time in the Word <3
8ish-Tobin wakes up- Clean clean clean Organize and Clean
Tobin gets up-10ish: Breakfast and play time with boy my kids
10ish: PICK UP Nia may mayyyyess <3
And from there its gonna be a whirl wind of fun && my day isn't quite planned.

<3
Yay

Puppy

The Cockrofts are the epitome of spontaneous.
We went to Wal*mart yesterday to pick up some ice, BBQ sauce and photos. We go to the BBQ with a puppy.
I have no idea how it happened. Oh wait...yes yes I do.
We were out of Wal*mart and leaving the parking lot when Doug mentioned there was a Free Puppies sign. I probably wouldn't have noticed it since I was doing my word puzzles.
So I asked him to swing around and look. Yes he was hesitant, but he did as I asked.
There was a truck and about 10 black lab puppies mixes in the back. Doug told me that he was not going to get out and look at them, but I could (mistake number one Douglas ^_^)
They were precious as precious can be!
Asked the "parents" lots of questions. The reason they were getting rid of them was because they just didn't have the room for 18 puppies and really who does?!
Looked at Doug and relayed all the info I had just gathered. He actually came out and looked at them and said "Fine" which is wayyy more positive then he has been saying everytime we have looked at dogs (NO!)
He let me pick one out (only stipulation was that it needed to be a girl)
Which was perfect anyways, since the one I had been eyeballin was female anyways ^_^
She is a beautiful little thing. Timid and quiet!
Black coat with a tip of white on her tail, and then her front right paw and back left paw has some white on it too. Also a little on her breast.
She is perfect!
Once I find my camera cord I will upload pics.

So after we picked up some stuff for her (Kennel, food, leash, bowl, and collar) we went over to Geema's house for a bonfire/BBQ.
Puppy was sooo well behaved! With 9 kids all under the age of 6 running around and playing with her she was so calm and collected.
The 4wheeler didn't scare her and she was just soo perfectly behaved!

Our first night;
She (still no name for her, I told Doug he got to choose since I picked out the puppy)
She only had one accident in the house but once we picked her up and put her outside she went again. ^_^
She was so beyond worn out from the BBQ she layed on Tobin's tummy while we changed him and got him ready. Tobin loves his puppy. Kept calling for her "Come here puppy, here puppy Come here"
As we tucked Tobin in bed we let him say goodnight to her and she said our prayers with us.
Her kennel is in our room for the first few weeks (maybe forever who knows)
Yes she did whine for a bit. All Doug had to do was pet her and talk lovingly to her andshe went right to sleep.
She woke up every couple hours during the night to go potty. But she always woke us up by quietly whining.
Only one accident in the kennel && I only think thats because one of us didn't get up in enough time.
^_^

This morning she went potty outside. She ate her food and has been such a well behaved thing.
Yes she wants to chew on things but I just take them out of her mouth and tell her no. She stops.
=]
Right now she is sleeping at the foot of the computer. I think she gets cold easily. Which is good since we are heading out to Cali where its rarely cold haha

Pics later when I find my camera

Random Ramblings

I've started my blog again for the gazzilonth time.
Goal for this one is to keep everyone posted in more detail versus random tidbits on my facebook.
<3
Today we went over to the Dahlstroms for lunch. It's insane thinking that they were the first friends we made up here. So much has changed in the past 2 years. I've grown up alot and so has Tobin.
When we first started going to FRC Tobin could barely crawl. He was such a chunka bunka.
=]
So this post is just to randomly start it again.
Soooo..yah
